Extreme Pro pads are ideal for faster street bikes and race bikes alike but as they
include many new additives and slower manufaturing processes they are more expensive
and target the no compromise rider or race team. |

When EBC broke into the sintered pad market, it really did its homework. They took
all the current market offerings, tested them, analysed them and beat them. They
removed the problems that many other sintered pads had that cause the pad to
"weld" to the disc under corrosion when the bike is parked and replaced it with
stainless powder. They then took out several other items which there competitors
still use which caused massive disc damage and created there launch material.
After five years and millions of sets sold they upgraded again to SB101C material which completely eliminated BRAKE NOISE, improved the pads HEAT CYCLING CAPABILITY and improved feel. The recent advancements in brakes really show how far modern technology has come. Twenty years ago no one would have believed you could talk to someone on the other side of the world for free, or play games online with other people at sites such as Cheeky Bingo let alone believe someone could completely eliminate brake noise on an offroad bike. We're all used to the characteristic buzzing or throaty rumbling sound of a revved bike, and the idea of quieter and more efficient brakes sounds heavenly. One of the most important aspects of biking is noise suppression, especially if you're taking it off the track. This is an added bonus, and comes with the main benefit: high-quality brakes. On any vehicle, it goes without saying that the feel and durability of your braking equipment makes a lot of difference in a high-speed situation, in terms of professional performance and safety. The EBC tech ensures you're safe in the saddle, and coming to a halt (or just drifting round that last bend before the home straight) is as smooth and consistent as possible. |
